Lead Sales Manager – SheshaResell

Location: Remote / Johannesburg (with occasional in-person meetings)

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

About the role: As a SaaS and PaaS company, SheshaResell is our flagship platform for prepaid reselling. We are seeking a dynamic Lead Sales Manager to drive the sales of SheshaResell licenses to entrepreneurs, spaza shops, retailers, and small businesses across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy to increase SheshaResell license adoption across informal and formal retail channels.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of sales representatives to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new market segments and opportunities to grow the reseller base, including partnerships with community organizations and business networks.
  • Customer Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new resellers, ensuring a seamless experience from sign-up to first sale.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor sales metrics, pipeline, and conversion rates, providing regular reports to executive leadership.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as the voice of SheshaResell in the market, attending industry events and building relationships with key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in sales leadership, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or telecoms.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the South African prepaid market and informal retail sector.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional South African languages is a plus.
  • Drive: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and scaling revenue.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
